Boat and bike tours along the Elbe river
Discover the beauty of paddling on the Elbe river in combination with a relaxing return by bike along the Elbe Cycle Route. The cycling trail follows the river without any hills, so even children will enjoy the trip. You can choose from several routes between Ústí nad Labem, or Děčín to the German town of Bad Schandau. The river is calm without any weirs and therefore suitable for beginners.
Right behind Děčín begins the Bohemian Switzerland National Park with the deepest sandstone canyon in Europe. During the paddle tour, you will enjoy views of rock walls and towers of various shapes and shores full of herons. Choose one of our tours across the border to Bad Schandau, Germany, a spa town with a typical Saxon folk architecture and a café atmosphere. Or go on a route between Ústí nad Labem and Děčín, where you go through the green hills of the Bohemian Highland.
At the destination of the tour, we will take the boats with all the equipment from you, and if you have ordered bikes, we will hand them over to you. We will lend you bikes or bring your own. We take care of boat and bike transportation so you can make the most of your day.

Your trip begins at Camp Děčín, where we will hand you in a boat, paddles, and a dry bag. A short briefing will take place. The tour will enchant you right at the beginning, by paddling between the rock massifs of the Shepherd's Wall with the Via Ferrata and the opposite side with the Děčín chateau. The Bohemian Switzerland National Park begins right behind the Děčín town. The river is calm and without difficult passages in this section. You can comfortably reach the handover point in Dolní Žleb, where we will take the boat at the ferry at the right bank and give you the bikes. Then you will reach the left bank of the Elbe Cycle Route by ferry. You can go by bike to Děčín or at first have a snack in the Dolní Grund restaurant with a fabulous view of the rocks.
If you choose the option without bikes, we recommend using the train connection from the nearby station for the trip back to Děčín.

Your tour starts at Camp Děčín, where we will hand you a boat, paddles and a dry bag. There will be a short briefing on-site. This trip is a 15 km long pleasant ride and you can reach neighbouring Germany in 3 hours. During the tour, you will be amazed by the fabulous Bohemian Switzerland National Park from the water surface in the deepest sandstone canyon in Europe. The handover point for bikes is located on the right river bank of the picturesque village of Schmilka, directly at the ferry station. There you can visit a local microbrewery or cafe with breathtaking views. You will enjoy the way back by bike, which we will bring you there. To get to the Elbe cycling trail on the left side of the river, you will use the ferry first. For the return trip by train, we recommend the train station on the left bank, where the ferry will take you.

Your experience starts at Camp Děčín, where we will hand you in a boat, paddles, and a dry bag. A short briefing will take place on-site. The longest trip from our offer, with 22 km of a pleasant pace in 4.5 hours. When leaving Děčín, you will be amazed by the looks of the Shepherd's Wall with the Via Ferrata and with Děčín chateau on the other side, which rises above the river. The river will take you through a majestic sandstone canyon through the national parks of Bohemian and Saxon Switzerland to the spa town of Bad Schandau in neighboring Germany. If you have ordered bikes, we will hand them over to you here and it is up to you whether you choose to visit the center of the spa town with a number of restaurants and pleasant cafes, or choose a direct route back to Děčín along the Elbe cycle path, or by train from the nearby railway station

You will start from Ústí nad Labem from the Mariánské bridge, where we will hand over the boat, paddles and boat bag to you on the cycle path. A short briefing will take place on site. At the beginning of the trip, you will ride under the Mariánský most, which is one of the landmarks of the city and has won many architectural awards. After you leave the city, you will be surrounded by the green hills of the Český středohoří. On the way, you can stop in Velké Březno for local beer Březňák. The cruise ends at Camp Děčín, on the right bank under the New Bridge in Děčín. The train station and bus station are within walking distance, and parking is possible in front of the Děčín campsite and is free for customers.

The starting point is the ferry in Velké Březno on the right bank, where the boats will be handed over and a short briefing will take place. The river is bordered by the panorama of the Czech Central Mountains, which will lead you along the river to the greenest town in the Czech Republic - Děčín. The tour ends on the right bank under the New Bridge at Camp Děčín. The train and bus stations are within walking distance, and parking is possible in front of the Děčín campsite and is free for customers.
Schmilka - Wehlen 23 km / 5 hrs

This tour starts in Schmilka at the ferry, where you will receive the complete equipment and tour instructions as well as our original tour map with all routes and landing stages. Then its time to outbound.
This is a lovely tour in the Elbe valley passing Bad Schandau, the rocky fortress Königstein and the astonishing Bastei bridge. The current is calm and thus suitable also for families with kids.
After landing in Stadt Wehlen, you will get from us bikes in order to cycle back to Schmilka on the Elbe cycling trail.
In Schmilka you have to take the ferry to get back to the hotel Bio- und Nationalpark Refugium Schmilka where you will return the bikes.
Bad Schandau - Děčín 22 km / 4,5 hrs

This tour starts in Bad Schandau at the Aktiv Zentrum. There you pick up the bike with the equipment and continue to Děčín in the Czech Republic. The Elbe cycle route will lead you across the border to the Kemp Děčín. At Kemp Děčín we will take a bike from you and you will get a boat with instructions, equipment and continue back to Bad Schandau. At the end of the tour we will take the boat with all the equipment from you.
